Dear Elder and Mrs. Meyer,

I want to take just a few minutes to thank you for the kind hospitality you extended to us. The visit left us encouraged in the goodness of man. All too often today all you hear and see is negative. To see folk camping together with an abundance of children playing took me back to the years of my children and tent camp meetings. Great memories!

To open your home during an exhaustive period of meetings in itself, showed true worship. I wish I could surround myself with men like Jonathan and Solomon. If a lady would come along with the wisdom of your Ruth, I would be truly blessed. There is truth to the saying that “Behind every successful man, there stands a woman of ability and knowledge.” The labor pool is practically devoid of such people. Many of my staff are very devoted to the mission program. To a few though, it is just a job and this is sad.

On the ride home, we laughed at how good little Abigail (Elder Meyer's Great-Grandchild) was.  I believe Abigail has been blessed from the heavenly Father with a sweet spirit.

Thank you very much for the cheese. It is wonderful!

It is my prayer that the Almighty will continue to bless and keep you, the family, and the Assemblies of Yahweh congregation safe, and growing in His love.
