Effective Date:
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Assemblies of Yahweh (“AOY,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you (“User”) use the Assemblies of Yahweh mobile application (the “Service”).
AOY provides this Service at no cost and intends it to be used as is. By using the Service, user agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Any personal information collected is used solely to provide and/or improve the Service. We do not sell or rent personal information and do not share it except as described in section 3 of this policy.

2. Information Collection and Use
To provide and improve the Service, we collect only the minimum information necessary to support app functionality, security, and ministry planning.
Account Information
The assembliesofyahweh.com and the Service uses the same login credentials. Users create accounts via the assembliesofyahweh.com website. After a user is assigned a designated role, the Services uses the credential to authenticate users and provide role-based functionalities. When a user chooses to sign in to the Service:
- User email address and password are processed directly by Auth0, our third-party identity provider.
- AOY does not store, process, or have access to user’s password.
- After authentication, the Service stores a unique user identifier for role-based content.
Authentication data is handled in accordance with Auth0’s privacy and security policies.
2.1 App Analytics and Usage Data
AOY Aggregated Analytics
The Assemblies of Yahweh stives to preserve user’s privacy by collecting aggregated data to understand how and where content is being used to better understand interest. This data is used for: resource allocation, regional interest, and Bible study opportunities

- Sermon or Daily Bible Reading audio is started or completed
- Content is bookmarked, shared, or downloaded
- In-app searches are performed
- Livestreams are viewed
- Livestream comments are submitted
Each event may include:

The Service may derive an approximate geographic location (such as city, region, and country) based on network information at the time an event occurs.
- This location data is approximate only
- It is not precise or continuous
- It is not tied to individual users
- It is used only to understand regional interest in content

- Names, email addresses, or personal identifiers
- Device advertising identifiers
- Precise GPS location
- Persistent tracking identifiers

2.2 Cookies
The Service does not use cookies directly.
However, Auth0 may use cookies during the login process, which occurs in user device’s web browser. User can control cookie behavior through his or her device or browser settings.
2.3 Device Information
Auth0 may collect limited device and log information (such as browser type, operating system, and IP address) for security and fraud-prevention purposes. These logs are retained by Auth0 for a limited time according to their policies. AOY does not independently store this device log data.
2.4 Optional Behavioral Analytics (Firebase)
The Service offers optional analytics services provided by Google Firebase to assist with application stability and performance monitoring.
- Firebase Analytics is disabled by default
- It is enabled only if a user explicitly opts in
- Users may disable Firebase Analytics at any time
- App functionality does not depend on Firebase Analytics
When enabled, Firebase Analytics is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.
2.5 Information You Submit Through In-App Forms
Certain optional features let you voluntarily submit information directly to AOY for ministry and event-planning purposes — for example, ministry/missionary reports and feast reservation forms for biblical feast events (such as the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Feast of Weeks, and the Feast of Tabernacles).
Depending on the form, the information you choose to submit may include:
- Your name and contact information (such as email address, phone number, or mailing address)
- Ministry-related details you enter into a report
- For feast reservations: the names and ages of household members you are registering, and related attendance details
This information:
- Is provided only when you choose to fill out and submit a form
- Is used solely to process, respond to, and plan around your submission (for example, arranging feast attendance or recording a ministry report)
- Is not used for advertising, tracking, or analytics, and is not sold or rented to anyone
- Is stored on AOY’s own website systems (assembliesofyahweh.com) and is treated in accordance with this Privacy Policy
This form information is separate from the aggregated analytics described in Section 2.1. If you submit information about other people, including household members or minors, you confirm that you are authorized to provide that information on their behalf. The rest of the app functions normally if you do not use these forms
When enabled, Firebase Analytics is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.
2.6 Livestream Comments
When you post a comment during a livestream, your comment and the display name associated with your account are transmitted to AOY and shown to other viewers of that livestream. The fact that a comment was submitted may also be counted in the aggregated analytics described in Section 2.1.
2.7 Crash and Error Reporting (Sentry)
The Service uses Sentry to detect application crashes and technical errors so we can diagnose and fix problems.
- Crash reports may include technical information such as stack traces, the device model, operating system version, and app version
- Sentry is configured not to attach personal identifiers or IP addresses to these reports (
sendDefaultPii is disabled) - This data is used only for application stability and is not used for advertising, tracking, or analytics
Crash and error data sent to Sentry is governed by Sentry’s privacy policy.
3. Service Providers
We use third-party services to support the operation of the Service, including:
- Auth0 – authentication and identity management
- U.S. EPA OpenAPI Microservices – calculation of sunset times based on user-provided location
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) – delivery of push notifications. To receive push notifications, the Service registers a device token with Google’s Firebase platform. This token is used solely to route notifications to your device and is not linked to personally identifiable information by AOY. Push notification delivery is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.
- Sentry – crash and error reporting. The Service sends crash reports and technical error data to Sentry to diagnose and fix problems. It is configured not to attach personal identifiers or IP addresses to these reports. Sentry’s processing is governed by its privacy policy.
- Railway (Infrastructure) – AOY operates a first-party application microservice hosted on Railway. This service handles select app functionality and operates under AOY’s control. Any data processed by this service is subject to this Privacy Policy. Railway’s role is infrastructure hosting only; it does not independently access or use your data.
These third parties receive only the information necessary to perform their specific functions and are contractually obligated to protect it and not use it for other purposes. These privacy policies are available via: Auth0 and EPA
4. Security
All data transmissions are encrypted using HTTPS. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Children’s Privacy
The Service is suitable for general audiences and does not specifically target children.
If we become aware that personal information has been collected from a child under 13 without proper consent, we will promptly delete it, in accordance with applicable laws such as the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
Some optional features (such as feast reservation forms) allow an adult account holder to enter information about household members, which may include the names and ages of minors. This information is provided voluntarily by the account holder for event-planning purposes and is not collected directly from children.
Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided personal information may contact us to request review or deletion.
6. Data Deletion
Users may request deletion of their account and associated personal data by visiting: Account Deletion Request
Upon request, we will delete or deactivate user accounts and associated profile data under our control. This includes information you have submitted through in-app forms, except where limited retention is required for legal or recordkeeping purposes. Certain limited technical or security logs may be retained by third-party service providers (such as Auth0) for a limited period, as required for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance. These logs are not used for marketing or profiling.
Deletion requests are processed in accordance with applicable laws and service requirements.
